TIME:
Primary Managers Meeting at 8:00am for a compulsory meeting.
Primary registrations begin at 8.25am and close at 10.15am. All competitors must be registered within these times. Competitors report to their zone manager for registration. All competitors should take the opportunity to ‘walk the course’ which will occur at 8.45am. Please note that any student who takes any wrong corners on the course will be disqualified.
COST: $7 entry fee per competitor payable in cash to the zone manager.
CROSS COUNTRY INFORMATION
- All competitors must compete in Port Stephens uniform. Shoes must be worn.
- Competitors can compete in 1 event only at the carnival (competitors can choose to compete up an age division but not down).
- No pushing or tripping on purpose is allowed. Spectators must stay in the designated viewing area
- No assistance is allowed to be given to a competitor by a spectator to help you complete the event.
- No water can be consumed by runner during their event. Asthma puffers are permitted.
- Any protests are to be lodged within 10 minutes of the completion of an event by the team manager only.
- All competitors must report back to the zone manager after their event and return their zone shirt.
The first 10 runners will receive a place card as they run over the finish line. These students only need to report to the primary recorder’s desk to have their personal details and shirt size taken.
The first 6 placed competitors will compete as members of the Hunter team at the NSWPSSA Cross Country Championships.
The other runners will be reserve runners and will only be called upon if a student withdraws from the event.
